At Lindex' headquarter in Gothenburg our skilled designers Adalmina Piechal and Emma Joëlson Utbult work. This is where they draw every single pattern for our adorable baby collections The Colour Pops and Soft Nature. The patterns take form on the comfy materials, where the cotton is always GOTS-certified, and when it's not made from cotton it's made from recycled materials. This way we can make it as good as possible for our little ones and for the future.
The Colour Pops, a truly colourful and joyful collection, will start fall with patterns filled with quirky monkeys.
– To give the pattern a playful and cool feel, I chose to work with different types of monkeys, both big and small ones. And our cute mascot, Dexter the leopard, got to play in the print as well, Adalmina Piechal says.
Mix and match prints and colours
We love to match these patterns with our favourites, the vertical stripes. They are so easy and fun to combine. And now we're launching even more colours to choose among.
– My personal favourite is probably the stripes in brown/beige or the pink/orange ones that you will find in store later on, Adalmina Piechal says.
The enlarged leo print also comes in new colour combinations and is fun to team with other prints or to go all in, wearing it from head to toe.
Larger sizes online
Do you know you can always order your favourite patterns up to size 104 online? Just order it yourself or ask our staff in any of our stores for help. Perfect to match with siblings, since both collections are designed to be unisex.
From this fall, all our bodies in smaller sizes, will be available as wrap body with "Extended size solution". This solution comes with two strands of snaps in the crotch which makes it possible to wear the body for an extra long time, as the baby grows. Smart and sustainable that is.
Baby clothing in imaginative patterns
Soft Nature comes with milder colour tones and the designer Emma Joëlson Utbult draws her inspiration from Scandinavian animals and vegetation.
– We begin this fall with a soft, hand drawn expression where I created a pattern of animals appearing in an imaginary world like magpies wearing hat, a mouse on a soap-bubble and cats with wings, Emma Joëlson Utbult says.
To create a cozy feel of fall the pattern is also accompanied by falling leaves and happy acorns. Choose between a graphic print or a more playful one.
In this collection the striped cat also participates, both as an allover print and with charming cat faces placed on bodies and leggings.
The colour tone for this collection is soft lilac, turquoise, blue and brown.
– I think the brown colour is one of this fall's most interesting hues both for baby and older kids, teamed with grey, beige and broken white, Emma Joëlson Utbult says.
The new Soft Nature collection also contains plain coloured bodies, tops and leggings made from super soft ribbed cotton that you easily match with some of the patterns.
Psst, already from the end of June 2019, you'll find both the collections in store and online.
