1. In General

Access and use of Lindex Online Shop and lindex.com (below referred to as "Lindex" or "Website") are subject to the following Terms and conditions. If you access the Website, and/or place an online order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. Lindex kindly requests its Customers to read these terms and conditions carefully before placing any orders.

Lindex retains the right to amend these terms and conditions on account of justifiable reasons. The terms and conditions valid at the time of placing the order shall be applicable to the order despite possible subsequent amendments. These terms and conditions are construed and shall be governed in accordance with the laws of Slovakia.

This Website also contains links to other websites (such as ordertracking), which are not operated by Lindex. Lindex has no control over the linked sites and accepts no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

References in these Terms and Conditions to "Lindex", "we", and "Website" are to Lindex Slovakia s.r.o.

2. Privacy Policy

The parent company - AB Lindex - is totally committed and responsible to protect the privacy and all personal data provided from the customer to Lindex. Lindex will not disclose any personal data about our customers to third party companies except where it's included in providing a service to the customer, for example arranging the shipment of an order to the customer. 3. Terms of purchase

Lindex only accepts orders made from our website - at present we have no possibilities to process orders via telephone, e-mail or by post.

To place an order at Lindex the customer must be over 18 years of age and must be resident in any of the 27 EU countries to which Lindex delivers. The customer must also provide Lindex with a delivery address and contact details (such as e-mail address and mobile number). This can be done either in the shoppingbag or by registering a customer profile at Lindex Online Shop. Items placed in the shoppingbag is not reserved until the order are placed and confirmed.

a.     Contract and confirmation of order

When ordering goods at the Lindex Online Shop, a binding purchase agreement is concluded only after Lindex have confirmed the order to the e-mail address indicated by the Customer (Order Confirmation). The order confirmation is sent to the customers e-mail address when Lindex has registered the order and received payment. In some markets Lindex offers payment upon delivery, if this payment option is selected the order will be confirmed no later than 24 hours after Lindex have received the order. Orders placed during Fridays through Sundays, and holidays will be confirmed no later than on the following business day at 18:00.

b.     Pricing and currency

All prices are shown in Euros (EUR) on the website and are inclusive of VAT. Prices may change and offers may be withdrawn at any time.

Prices given on the date when the Customer makes an order are valid throughout the entire purchase process. Maximum purchase amount per order is 600 EUR (including eventual shipping and handling fees)

c.    Discount and promotion codes

Lindex may from time to time offer promotional discounts, with or without a promotion code (which in such case is registered in the shoppingbag) which may apply to a certain campaign on this website.

Promotions with codes are in general only valid once - and once the code is used it will be deactivated, hence the code will be no longer valid.

Promotions cannot be added to an order after the order is confirmed, therefore the Customer is recommended to make sure that the campaign is registered to the order before he/she confirms and pays the order.
Lindex does not take responsibility for promotion codes or promotions published on external websites.

When a campaign or promotion is communicated in printed material, or in digital material (e.g. in an e-mail newsletter) by Lindex, Lindex states that combination of different promotions are prohibited. Lindex thereby, in case of missuse of either campaigns or promotions, reserves the right to cancel the customer's order. 

d.     Payment

Payment can be effected by either creditcard or direct debit (if provided locally). When paying using a credit- or debitcard, the customer shall indicate the details of his/hers credit- or debitcard in our online payment terminal. By security reasons the customer may also verify the payment through 3-D secure (Verified by Visa/MasterCard), if this service is provided by the customers card issuer.

Upon order the amount of the order will be reserved on the customer credit- or debitcard and the transaction will be completed when the order is dispatched from Lindex's warehouse. Payment through direct debit shall be charged immediately when the order has been confirmed.

All credit- and debit cardholders are subject to validation- and authorization control by the card issuer. If the issuer of the given credit- or debit card refuses to authorize the payment to Lindex, the customer shall receive a message stating that the payment couldn't be performed. In this event, Lindex shall not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of the order, until the payment has been effected and the order is confirmed by Lindex.

All transactions will be sent through SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) in encrypted form providing high-level security for the Customer. Lindex cooperates with an authorized payment agent, who processes the Customers card details in the correct way according to the international security standard PCI DSS developed by international credit card companies such as VISA, MasterCard and Diners. Therefore, the Customers card details and payment information shall be highly protected and processed with a maximum level of security.

e.     Deliveries

Depending of what type of shipment the Customer chooses, the delivery time may vary. For more information about estimated delivery times, please read the additional information about the modes of delivery below.

When an order is dispatched from our warehouse the customer will also receive a shipping confirmation, with information on how to track the shipment and the tracking number of the order. Should the delivery be delayed from estimation the Customer is entitled to cancel the purchase. In such case the Customer is requested to contact Lindex customer servicehere>>

Lindex offers two types of deliveries to Slovakia, and in the shoppingbag the Customer may choose either;

1. Pickup at local Lindex store (Free shipping)

When ordering with pickup at local Lindexstore the customer shall indicate which Lindexstore he/she wishes to have the order delivered. Lindex will thereafter process the order and dispatch the order to the chosen Lindexstore.
In addition to the order confirmation the customer will receive on e-mail when her order is dispatched, the Customer will also receive a notification via e-mail when he/she can pick the order up at the Lindexstore.
If the customer has provided Lindex with a mobile phone number, the notification of pickup will also be sent via SMS - provided that the customer have accepted to receive such notices via SMS in the shoppingbag.

The estimated delivery time is 4-6 business days.

When collecting the order at the Lindexstore, the Customer shall present the ordernumber and valid personal identification document. Orders should primarily be picked up personally by the orderer. If this isn't possible the customer may send a courier is his/her name. The courier must be able to present valid identification document both his/hers and the identification document of the orderer. The customer may also (if he/she wishes to) issue a Power of attorney to his/her courier.

The order shall be collected within 14 days, for unclaimed orders the customer shall be refunded, but Lindex reserves the right to charge the customer 20 EUR for costs arising. All orders ordered for pickup at Lindex store is delivered without any delivery costs.

2. Direct delivery (shipping cost 7 EUR)

Direct home delivery delivers the order to the address given by the customer during the order process.

Lindex may use different operators for delivery at your door. Usually the speditor operates during office hours, between 08:00 and 17:00. If the customer is staying elsewhere than at his/her residence during this time, it's recommended that such delivery address is given when completing the order at lindex.com.

The estimated delivery time is 4-6 business days.

The shipping cost is charged with € 7 per order, regardless of how many items you order. For packages that cannot be delivered after several attempts, Lindex reserves the right to charge €20 for costs arising.  

4. Exchanges and returns

Lindex has a 30 day returnpolicy, which means that the Customer can return items he/she has ordered up to 30 days from the date he/she received his/her order, provided that the items returned contain original labels, are unused and are in the original condition. Lindex requests that the Customer would indicate the reason for returning the goods. The returned items shall be packaged in the same way as the items were received.

On sale items Lindex offer 14 days right of withdrawal.

Cosmetics must be returned in sealed packages.

If trying on bathing suits or underwear, please ensure that these items are tried on over your own underwear and please do not remove the hygiene strip.

If the customer chooses to return a complete (not partial order) order he/she is also entitled to refund of eventual service- and delivery fees.

The return may be carried out as Store Return (Return in store can only be made to a Lindexstore in the country to which the order was initially delivered) or as Postal Return.

Exchanges may only be made while making a store return (in a local Lindexstore), Lindex Online shop can unfortunately not process exchanges if customer have made her return to the Lindex Online Shop Warehouse.
Returns of the assortment MOM must be made with postal services to Lindex Online Shop.

When customer return one or more items included in an offer, she loses the discount if she, with the remaining items, does not fulfill the terms for the offer.


  • Store return

If the customer elects to return goods from his/her order (either as a partial or complete return) at a Lindexstore in Slovakia, the return is always free of charge. Store return may only be carried out in Slovakian Lindexstores.

Unfortunately Lindex exclusive assortment online can not be returned at a Lindexstore. The online exclusive assortment must thereby be returned to Lindex Online shop according to the instructions for postal return below

When returning the goods to a Lindex store, the Customer should bring the original delivery note/receipt that was enclosed in the shipment. This is required for purchase price to be refunded to customer. Additionally, if the customer choose to return the complete order he/she is entitled to refund of eventual service- and delivery fees. The refund to customer will be processed when he/she makes the return at the store.

  • Postal return

The Customer may, if he/she wishes, arrange the return delivery through postal services available in his/her area. For postal returns, use either international priority with Slovenská pošta or economy shipment, through UPS, DHL, or EMS.

The delivery note should be enclosed with the return shipment. The Customer is liable for paying the return delivery costs and for the risk of damage during the transport. The Customer is recommended to retain the proof of shipment and possible tracking number until the purchase price has been refunded.

The returns shall be marked as "Purchase Return" and addressed as follows:

Returned goods will be refunded within 14 days of their receipt by Lindex.

5. Notice of Defect

Lindex shall ensure that each dispatch is carefully inspected before delivery to the Customer. Should the goods nevertheless be incorrect, damaged or defective upon the receipt by the Customer, please contact Customer service.

To file a claim for notice of defect, the Customer is requested to contact Lindex customer service.

Please contact us within five days from the day you picked up your order

After this, the Customer should arrange the return delivery through, for example, local postal services and pay for the return shipping her-/himself. Please enclose the receipt for the shipping costs, along with the defective merchandise, and Lindex will cover the return shipment cost for you along with the refund for the defective items.

Once Lindex has received the damaged goods, we will within 14 days refund the Customer for the faulty item as well as for the costs of the return shipping.

If the Customer prefers, he/she may also file his/hers claim at any Lindexstore in Slovakia

Unfortunately Lindex may have made a mistake and missed to pack all items in your order - in such case please accept our apology and contact our customer service straightaway, so that we can resolve the issue as quickly as we can.

In disputes that we are unable to resolve, we recommend that the Customer contact the European Commission's online platform for dispute resolution: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.



6. Liability

Lindex retains the right to withdraw from the delivery of the order in case there has been a clear and obvious price error on the website (e.g. the price of the product appears to be 0 EUR or if there's no price at all). In such case, Lindex shall without delay inform the customer about the error and notify the correct price.

The items sold at lindex.com are provided for private consumer use only. Any reprint, copying, downloading, storing, transmitting or similar activity relating to texts and images presented on lindex.com for any other purpose whatsoever without the prior written permission of Lindex, is prohibited. Lindex is not liable for any errors in texts or images and does not accept liability for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, loss of income or profit, or loss from claims by third parties arising out of the use of the website or for any products or services purchased from lindex.com.

Lindex shall have no liability for any delay in the delivery of products to the extent that the delay is caused by any event outside of Lindex's reasonable control, including but not limited to war, flood, fire, labour disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, malicious damage, governmental actions and any other similar events.

While Lindex to accurately describe items and images on lindex.com, there may be minor colour variations between the images and the actual products due to a number of factors such as the used internet browser or the monitors colour contrast configurations. Lindex cannot be held responsible for differences in colours as a result of aforementioned factors.

Lindex shall have the right to interrupt the use of lindex.com at any time for example on account of maintenance procedures.
