Care guide
Wear, play, care, repeat. Help your kid's outerwear withstand usage and the elements by caring for them in between outdoor play sessions.

How to wash outerwear
We recommend washing outerwear as little as possible and spot clean with a damp cloth where necessary. If you need to use the washing machine, make sure to close the zippers, fasten the velcro straps and turn the garment inside out. We recommend a mild detergent and a cool temperature setting. You can also use a mild clothing mist to refresh the inside of the garments in between washes.

How to dry outerwear
Simply hang your kid's outerwear to dry. Alternatively, put the garment in a drying cabinet at low temperature, which also helps reactivate the functional properties. Good to know: the drop seat function is not just for quicker toilet visits. Dry the garment faster by opening the zipper.

Water repellent test
You can test the garment for water repellency by doing a drop test. Sprinkle just enough water droplets on the garment so you can see them dripping off. Good to know: you can do this test on parts of the garment that are most prone to wearing (for example the knees or elbows) since it's most likely those areas that the water repellent treatment has been exposed highest to abrasion.

How to restore water repellency
Help your kid's outerwear maintain its waterproof properties with a water repellent spray. Make sure to check the instructions on the bottle. A little goes a long way and doesn't need to be done too often!
