The Pink Collection. Stronger Together.
October is synonymous with breast cancer awareness. So, it should come as no surprise that for the 16th year in a row, we are showing our support to cancer research.
This year, we have created an inspired and curated collection of clothes and accessories that convey strength, beauty and femininity, to be launched on September 27.
Autumn Capsule Collection
A tight collection with a focus on knits and prints, “We think it is on point with the autumn trend and for our Lindex customer,” Therese Jörgensen, Womenswear Assortment Coordinator says. You’ll find premium quality knits in lovely colours that are sure to be wardrobe staples. “We also offer a cable-knit cardigan that is a perfect second layer, and in principal, functions as outerwear, cozy to wrap yourself in when autumn arrive,” she says. The Pink Collection also includes a knitted set, something that Therese says will be quite popular during autumn.
Prints were a major part of the conceptualization process for this collection. For autumn, they can be combined with knits, or a mix of patterns. “The thought is that all prints should work together, and that you should be able to mix and match which is the core of Your Smart Wardrobe,” Therese says. The standout piece of the collection? This soft flowy dress in a beautiful print. It can be styled with a blazer for a smart outfit or a transseasonal look.
Seasonal Colours With A Touch of Pink
The palette includes camel, burgundy, and rust which is a key colour this autumn. “We have added pink as well to symbolize October in particular, of course,” Therese says. You can find a cozy pink alpaca sweater, as well as a matching alpaca beanie.
Aside knits, there’s a genuine leather skirt, a leather belt and a silk scarf. Some of the other products in the collection are still high quality and slightly higher price even though they do not carry the specific premium label. “We wanted to add the suit and leather skirt to the collection to contrast the feminine aspect as well as represent the ‘power garments’,” Therese says. The Pink Collection, to be launched on September 27, will be available in select stores and online, with 10% of all sales made going to cancer research.
A silver coloured bracelet and tote bag have been designed specially to supplement the main collection and will be available across all markets. 100% of all profit goes to cancer research. This gives the customer the power to make a difference regardless of what they choose to purchase.
