Is it really necessary with fifteen bodies, is an overall too hot and why do we think that bibs should get the Nobel prize for peace? Breathe. We will help you put it all together. It´s easier than you might think.
First things first. Think through your shopping carefully. Focus on the things you really need. By choosing baby clothes with high quality they will last longer and at the same time it’s more kind to the little one and to our nature.
Adapt the baby’s clothes to the temperature indoors and outdoors. Not too thick, not too thin. Therefore, it’s a good idea to buy varying materials of pants, bodies and socks. Ready? Here we go:
The start boxA couple of soft pajamas, with a loose fit and which are easy to open in nocturnal diaper changes are a must. During the day the baby appreciates kickable pants and a body that´s not too tight. Make sure you´ll have both short-sleeved and long-sleeved ones, so you can adjust them by the temperature. A baby grows fast and seems sometimes likes to get messy, so buy a several bodies.
When the baby is drooling, a is your lifetime savior and will spare you some gray hair, because you don´t have to change the clothes and wash them all the time. Plus, the garment will look good for a longer time. Observe this: you are going to need more than just one...
You will need a soft and comfy beanie and gloves to warm and protect. Add a pair of soft socks (the ones with a high shaft fits better). A pair of booties keep the tiny feet warm when you´re outside.
A soft shell overall makes it easy to use the layer-on-layer principle and you can adapt the clothes depending on the weather. A thermo overall is cozy in the winter, but make sure to keep an eye on the baby´s temperature. If you are using a footmuff it might be too hot.
A soft baby blanket makes the little one feels warm and safe and it´s lovely to snuggle with. Wrap a soft bath towel around the baby after the bath. Use one that is kind to his sensitive skin.
And do not forget a cuddly friend like a teddy bear made for babies.
We hope these were useful tips for you. Enjoy putting together your baby´s start box!
