The MonthlyCup Guide
The MonthlyCup is an easy-to-wear, small foldable and reusable device made in Sweden from medical grade silicone. It collects your menstrual blood rather than absorbing it and most importantly, it gives you freedom to do what you want when you want. The cups are designed for long-term use, and they are reusable which means leaving less of a waste to clog up landfills and fewer trees are sacrificed to make paper and plastic-based alternatives. Your vaginal PH and beneficial bacteria will also stay in place since the cup will respect your delicate and natural balance.
And the list of good things continues. There will be fewer times you need to go and buy new hygiene protection and there will be more time between changes. Tampons need to be replaced every four to eight hours. With the cup you can go up to 12 hours without having to empty it. How great is that?
Frequently asked questions
Most people can use menstrual cups without any issues. If you are very sensitive and can’t use tampons, a menstrual cup might work better because it does not absorb everything in its way. Instead it collects only what it needs to - your period and does not leave you feeling dry.
MonthlyCup is available in three sizes. Mini: for the first few years of menstruation Normal: for light to normal flow (suitable for most) Plus: for heavy to very heavy flow
Your menstrual cup shall be boiled before your first usage. Afterwards, the cup should be boiled once a month, before or after your period does not matter.
It depends on how much you bleed. Most people only need to empty the cup 2 times a day. If you are a heavy bleeder, that may require more frequent emptying. However, do not keep your cup inserted for more than 12 hours before emptying and cleaning it.
MonthlyCup is made in Sweden form medical grade silicone and is 100% Vegan, approved by Animal Rights Sweden.
