Karin and Carl Larsson’s artistry worked in strong symbiosis – she created the home that he depicted. Together they created art that has become synonymous with the image of Sweden. They were active artists in the late 19th century and her creative strength became an important component of his art.
The pattern we have used for the garments is called “De mina” and was originally painted by Carl Larsson and appears as cover page in several of his books.
