The Italian fashion house Missoni has teamed up with Lindex to support breast cancer research. The result is a unique collection which will be launched on September 25 and will be for sale in all Lindex stores in Scandinavia, Central Europe and the Middle East, as well as at www.lindex.com.

The Missoni-Lindex collection, which has patterns and designs characteristic of Missoni, consists of a total of 75 items: women's wear, lingerie, children's wear and accessories. It is designed by Angela Missoni and 10% of the total sales price will be donated to the fight against breast cancer.

"The collaboration with Lindex has given us a unique opportunity to bring affordable design to every woman and, at the same time, to give something back by raising awareness for breast cancer throughout the world," says Angela Missoni, Creative Director at Missoni.

"By working together with Missoni, we are giving our customers access to one of the world's best known and most highly valued brands. At the same time, we are continuing our long-term support for breast cancer research," says Lea Rytz Goldman, Director Design and Purchase at Lindex.

For those hot summer days a drink of cooling lemonade is a must. Here's a yummy recipe for you.

Homemade Strawberry Lemonade

1 cup sugar
1 cup of water
1 pint fresh strawberries
1 cup fresh lemon juice (this equaled close to 8 of my lemons)
4-6 cups cold water (this will vary depending on your taste)

Directions

1. Make a simple syrup by combining the sugar with 1 cup of water in a saucepan. Place over medium heat and heat until the sugar in completely dissolved; swirl the pan occasionally. Let cool.

2. Once the simple syrup has cooled, puree strawberries in a blender with ½ cup water.

3. In a large pitcher, combine strawberry puree, simple syrup and lemon juice. If using the vodka, add it to the pitcher and stir to combine.

4. Add 4-6 cups of cold water. The amount of water you use will depend on your taste, so add as little or as much as you want to achieve your perfect sweet/tart balance.

5. Serve over ice. If desired, garnish with fresh strawberries and lemon slices.

The special collaboration has resulted in a unique capsule collection consisting of women's-wear, lingerie, accessories and children's wear. 10% of the sales price goes to the fight against breast cancer.
