Today we like...

If you like slow and dreamy music Lana Del Rey might just be your cup of tea. We've already showed you a video with her top hit Blue Jeans, but her appearance is just as inspirational. Her style is like a modern Lauren Bacall with a hint of street style thrown in there. Cool and refreshing.

Get the Baby Essentials

Striped, dotted, one coloured, bodys and trousers which can be forever combined. Soft and comfortable unisex items which don't itch. Little things which makes everyday life a little easier. Just those kind of items you want your little rascal to wear. Another good thing: choose your three favourites and only pay for two. A smart deal.

Get -the -Baby -Ess

More, perhaps obvious, tips which can be a helping hand:

- Bedtime can be a bit of a struggle sometimes. A hot bath and a cup of warm milk can do wonders.

- Music, such a universal happy pill. Dance with your little one to soft and cool tones. Good for you and your baby.

- Does your baby prefer to fall asleep on your arms? Not so strange when you think about it, you are warm and cuddly. Make it as comfy in your baby's bed by heating up a wheat heater and put in the bed some time before bedtime to make the baby's sleeping area just as cosy as you are. Well, almost.

Editors' Picks - Casual Cool

The leather jacket. A real classic when speaking about fashion. Always right, always cool. If you feel a bit stuck in your fashion routine, then it's a fashion saver to be able to return to the items that always works. Blake Lively and Miranda Kerr both opts for the short black leather piece and teams it with all black or the, also so classic, striped top. Simple and pretty. To use the jacket indoors is fashion tip, especially during the winter time when it's perhaps too cold for the minus temperatures which we have now.

We are inspired

Lindex has a blogg. That of course means that we read other blogs. One of our favourites is Susanna Lau. Susanna is the popular blogger behind the name Susie Bubble. A London girl, the family originally comes from Hong Kong, with a great interest for fashion. 2006 she started her blog "Style Bubble" and fills it with her personal anecdotes and her view on fashion as a whole with extra focus on young and unknown talents.

Read and get inspired here.

Shape Up!

We've said it before and we're happy to say it again. Shaping. Makes. Wonders. To put on lovely and comfortable underwear which fixes your figure in a beat. What a great feeling.

Yesterday we invited Swedish bloggers and the fashion press to a lingerie press event in Stockholm where we showed our latest shaping products. At the scene you could also find Lilla Bruket, a small family business from Swedish west coast which produces handmade ecological soaps and spa products.

Take me to Tokyo

When mentioning Asia one can't foresee Toyo. The Lindex designers often visit Tokyo for inspiration and of course we got curious, especially about the young fashion scene.

Tokyo. Just the name sounds like a fairytale. Another part of the world. Another rhythm. If you have seen the film Lost in Translation you are pretty close to what you can expect. World class shopping, sightings and experience. Hitting 35 million people you are bound to land in a city with a constant flow.

Tokyo

Sky scrapers and neon lights surround the Shibuya area, which is one of Tokyo's most colourful and exciting districts. Here you'll find fun shopping, fantastic restaurants and night clubs. Shibuya is the center for the young teenage culture and the streets surrounding the area is the core of a lot Japan's fashion and entertainment trends. Just to be here and soak up the atmosphere is a must if you visit the fashion capital of Asia. Regarding what you like to shop you'll find it here. Guaranteed. If you are looking for the latest trends, then take the time to wander the side streets where you'll find the most exciting shops. It's crazy, hysterical and very inspiring.

Tokyo2

In Shibuya you'll also find Harajuku, which is an area around the Harajuku train station. Here you'll find the really creative teenagers. The ones who live for their style. And dress like characters from a Manga series. That alone makes it interesting.

Tokyo. Will we meet?
