Think pretty pastels, strong colours, but also sun bleached hues
and washed out tones. Then imagine a press room filled to the brim
with the Swedish fashion squad, then continue visualizing racks
with collections that shows items which combines Japan and
Scandinavia, 50s and 60sinspirations in cool preppy styles, city
chic choices, material mixes, simple clean lines and clear sport
influences, then you have Lindex spring 2012 served on a plate.
Here are some our favourites:
Denim costume in a cool laid-back style, 60s inspired coat with
black skinny trousers and a clutch, the prettiest turquoise blouse,
striped dress with pockets matched with signal red leggings and
grassy green bag, classical cool blazer updated with block colours
in black and white matched with skinny dress pants, white on white
in a nice combination with a knitted top and white pants with zips
as a nice detail, black blazer with crème coloured pants with
stripes and pretty metal colours in a glittery skirt and top.

During the press show we talked to some of Sweden's
hottest editors and stylists and asked them what they think of the
spring trends:
Hulda Andersson, Fashion Editor Chic

"The colour trend continues and you could say that it next
spring really will be established commercially. We will dare more
colours and it will be easy to complete your look with colour
accents since the spring accessories comes in exciting hues. Coral,
orange tones, blue, green and preferably in unexpected colour
combinations. The sport influences are sharp such as stripes on a
tailored pant, details and material choices. It is an urban and
modern expression. The material mix is still important and
exciting. Combine the knitted with transparent or the woven with
metallic. If I would go for one look this spring it would be the
all white look as we have seen a lot on the international runways.
Mix different shades of white for a cool style and dare to play
with the white colour palette.
Malin Sjöstedt, Fashion Assistant Plaza Kvinna
" There will be a lot of colours which makes it simple to be
chic every day. We see a lot of tight chinos, asymmetric cuts and
tunics."
Carina Förne, Stylist
"A dressed, tailored and feminine style. We see a continuation
of the autumn, the metallic trend continues amongst other things.
If you should go for one thing this spring it would be dresses,
which we have seen all the runways."
Sara Östlund, Fashion Editor Cosmopolitan
"The sporty and the tailored look will meet this spring. The cap
is an important accessory. White hues, pastel colours and the mint
green will be the most prominent colours. I choose a tailored look,
and will buy a wide 60s inspired belt and add a white shirt. The
white shirt will be what the polo neck has been this autumn."
Li Svärd-Edwall, Fashion Editor VeckoRevyn
"The light tomato colours, the colour of satsumas, 60s with
straight and double waisted coats, dresses, minimalistic cuts. A
somewhat strange one will be neon colours for the brave ones."

We kick start spring in Lindex stores and online week 2. Hey
