The Construction of Eyes and Noses on Plush Toys

Lindex's position

No child should risk being injured by any of our toys or children's items. The focus on safety shall permeate the entire working method all the way from the design stage to the finished product.

All our toys must follow the European standard for toys - Safety of Toys (En 71-1-11).

Scope

Lindex places a strong focus on safety; in order to make sure that our children's items are as safe as possible, no eyes or noses made of glass or plastic are found on our plush toys.

Background

Small children discover their world by tasting things and putting things in their mouths; therefore, small parts can constitute a choking hazard if a small child gets it in his throat. The strength of all the items in an order can not be guaranteed by means of a strength test. Therefore, no eyes or noses made of plastic or glass are to be found on our plush toys.
